DAY 2
| DELHI /
JAIPUR
After breakfast,
half-day city tour of Old Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid, the
largest mosque in India ;Red Fort- built by Shah Jahan then
Chandni Chowk and Raj Ghat - the cremation site of Mahatma
Gandhi. Afternoon, leave for Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur and check in
at hotel.
DAY 3
| JAIPUR
After breakfast,
proceed to the Amber fort (11km) the ancient capital of
Jaipur, is a superb example of Rajput architecture. Take an
elephant ride from the foothills of the Aravallis to the fort
entrance. Afternoon, city tour of Jaipur. Visit the City Palace
Museum, Jantar Mantar - the observatory and the facade of Hawa Mahal.
DAY 4
|JAIPUR /
FATEHPUR SIKRI / AGRA
After breakfast,
leave for Agra. Enroute, visit the abandoned Mughal city -the
Fatehpur Sikri. Further, proceed to see the graceful buildings
including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal &
other Palaces which are still preserved in its original glory.
Continue drive to Agra. Arrive Agra in the evening and check
in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 5
| AGRA
After breakfast,
city tour of Agra. Visit Red fort- which was built by emperor Akbar Itmad-Ud-Daulah- constructed by the Mughal empress Nur
Jahan and then the highlight of the day - The Taj Mahal-
constructed by Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife
Mumtaz Mahal .Afternoon, free for the individual activities.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 6
| AGRA /
DELHI
After breakfast,
leave for Delhi. Arrive Delhi and check into hotel. Afternoon,
city tour of New Delhi. Visit Humayun's Tomb; Qutub Minar,
drive past India Gate, President House, Connaught Place. The
city tour ends here. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 7
| DELHI /
SRINAGAR
After breakfast,
transfer to the airport to board on flight to Srinagar. On
arrival, transfer to the houseboat on Dal / Nagin lake or to a
city hotel. Post lunch - Visit the famous Mughal Gardens-
touring Cheshma Shahi (The Royal Spring), Nishat Bagh (Garden
of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love). Evening return
to the houseboat/hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 8
|
SRINAGAR
After
breakfast, proceed with picnic lunch for full day tour of
Gulmarg (Meadow of flowers). Explore the scenic spots in and
around the area, take a walk on the outer circuit road to
enjoy a birds-eye view of the valley amidst dense woods. Also,
experience the Cable Car ride over Pine, Cedar and Fir covered
mountains to view and visit Khilanmarg and Kongdori. In the
evening return to houseboat/hotel for dinner and overnight
stay.
DAY 9
|
SRINAGAR / DELHI
After
breakfast, relaxing on Shikara Cruise on Dal and Nagin lakes.
Enjoy your ride through the floating gardens, vegetable
fields, narrow canals and visit- Ropa Lanc (Silver Island)
popularly known as Char Chinari & Sona Lanc .
Afternoon, transfer to the airport to board on flight back to
Delhi. Arrive Delhi and transfer to the hotel .
DAY 10

DELHI
Transfer to the
airport to board flight for the onward destination.
