DAY 2
| DELHI /
AGRA
After breakfast,
half-day city tour of Old Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid- the
largest mosque in India Red Fort, - the massive fort- built by
Shah Jahan, and then proceed for the Chandni Chowk (old Delhi)
and Raj Ghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi.
Afternoon, leave for Agra. Arrive Agra and check in at hotel.
DAY 3
| AGRA
After breakfast,
city tour of Agra. Visit Red fort - built by emperor Akbar.
Further, proceed for Itmad-Ud-Daullah- constructed by the
mughal empress Nur Jahan. And the highlight of the day - The
Taj Mahal, constructed by Shah Jahan in the memory of his
beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Afternoon, free for personal
activities. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 4
| AGRA/FATEHPUR
SIKRI/JAIPUR
After breakfast,
leave for Jaipur. Enroute visit the abandoned Mughal city -Fatehpur
Sikri- the oldest capital of the Moghuls, See the graceful
buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti,
Panch Mahal & other Palaces which are still preserved in its
original glory. Continue drive to Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur in the
evening and check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 5
| JAIPUR
/ UDAIPUR
After breakfast,
proceeds for the Amber Fort (11 kms) the ancient capital of
Jaipur. Take elephant ride from the foothills of the Aravallis
to the fort entrance. Later, visit the Palace of Winds-the
Hawa Mahal. Then proceed to the City Palace, Jantar Mantar-the
observatory. In the evening, transfer to the airport/train for
Udaipur.
DAY 6
| UDAIPUR
On arrival,
transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, city tour of Udaipur.
Visit the City Palace, Jagdish Temple and Sahelion ki Bari -
the royal gardens. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 7
| UDAIPUR
/ DELHI
After breakfast,
excursion to Nadga & Eklingji. Afternoon, boat ride on lake
Pichola. Later, transfer to the airport for Delhi.
DAY 8
| ARRIVE
DELHI
On arrival,
transfer to the hotel. Afternoon, city tour of New Delhi.
Visit Humayun's tomb - an early example of Mughal
architecture; Qutub Minar, drive past India Gate, President
House, Connaught Place. The city tour ends here. Dinner and
overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 9
| DEPART
DELHI
Transfer to the
airport to board flight for the onward destination.
