DAY 1 | ARRIVE DELHI


Arrive Delhi - India's capital & a gateway to the country. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.


 

DAY 2 | DELHI / JAIPUR


After breakfast, half-day city tour of Old Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid-the largest mosque in India-built by Shah Jahan, Red Fort- built by Shah Jahan then Chandni Chowk and Raj Ghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. Afternoon, leave for Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur and check in at the hotel.


 

DAY 3 | JAIPUR


After breakfast, proceed to the Amber Fort - the ancient capital of Jaipur (11km), is a superb example of Rajput architecture. Take an elephant ride from the foothills of the Aravallis to the fort entrance. Afternoon, city tour of Jaipur. Visit the City Palace, Jantar Mantar - the observatory and the facade of Hawa Mahal.


 

DAY 4 | JAIPUR/FATEHPUR SIKRI/AGRA


After breakfast, leave for Agra. Enroute visit the abandoned Mughal city -the Fatehpur Sikri; the old capital of the Moghuls. Further proceed to see the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal & other Palaces which are still preserved in its original glory. Continue drive to Agra. Arrive Agra in the evening and check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.


 

DAY 5 | AGRA


After breakfast, city tour of Agra. Visit Red fort, which was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565; Itmad-Ud-Daullah, -constructed by the Mughal empress Nur Jahan and then the highlight of the day - The Taj Mahal - constructed by Shah Jahan in the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Afternoon, free for the individual activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.


 

DAY 6 | AGRA / VARANASI


After breakfast, half day city tour of Agra. Which includes Sikandra built by Mughal Emperor Jahangir and Swami Bagh Temple. After taking lunch free for personal activities. In the evening, transfer to the railway station to board train for Varanasi. Overnight in the train.


 

DAY 7 | VARANASI


Arrive Varanasi and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon, excursion to Sarnath - the buried Buddhist city where Buddha preached his first sermon after attaining enlightenment at Bodhgaya. Overnight at the hotel.


 

DAY 8 |  VARANASI / DELHI


Early morning, leave for boat ride on the Ganges to see the bathing Ghats (river bank) to see the life on the Ghats bound in an endless string of rituals, ever-changing aspects of the river and the wide landscape & the cremation site. Return to hotel for the breakfast. Further, proceed for the city tour of Varanasi-the oldest living city of India - the religious capital of Hinduism. Visit the Bharat Mata Temple, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, Banaras Hindu University, which has an art gallery & the mosque of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb Afternoon, transfer to the railway station to board train for Delhi at. Overnight in the train


 

DAY 9 | DELHI


Arrive Delhi and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon, city tour of New Delhi. Visit Humayun's Tomb built in mid 16th century this is an early example of Mughal architecture; Qutub Minar, drive past India Gate, President House, Connaught Place. The city tour ends here. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.


 

DAY 10 | DEPART DELHI


Transfer to the airport to board your flight for onward destination.
