Arrival at
Dimapur by air. Check into hotel. After breakfast, pay visit
to the ancient ruins of Kachari Kingdom. Established before
the Ahoms invasions in the 13th century. Overnight stay at
hotel. |

DAY 2
| DIMAPUR
/ MON |

Early morning
after breakfast, drive up to Mon (280kms) (altitude:897mtrs.),
a home of Kanyaks Nagas. On arrival, check into the hotel. It
is interesting to see the tattoo faces, wearing featured
headgears and wear traditional dresses. They are known for
excellent woodcarving, handicrafts and black smithery. AOLING
festival, the main festival of the Kanyaks is spectacle worth
a watch. (1-5th April). Overnight stay at hotel. |

DAY 3
| MON/SHANGYU/CHUI/MON. |
|
|
Morning, after
breakfast, drive to Shangyu village. Visit Anghs house. Visit
a wooden monument carved exclusively. Return to Mon for a
lunch. After Lunch, drive to Langmeing. See head hunting
trophies. On the way back to Mon ,also visit Chui village.
Overnight stay at hotel. |

DAY 4

LANGWA/MON |

Morning, after
breakfast drive down to village -Langwa straddling on the
international boundary between India and Myanmar. It is the
biggest village in Mon district. However, the Anghs, still
control the whole village. Back to Mon.Overnight stay at
hotel. |

DAY 5
|MON/CHANGHANGSHU
/TUENSANG |

|
Morning, after
breakfast drive to Tuensang (165 km). Enroute visit
Changhangshu village upper Konyak village. Check in at
hotel/lodge/Guest house. Tuensang (1371m altitude) is the
homeland of the Changs, Yimchugers, Khiamniugan, Sangtam and
Sumi. Rest of the day enjoy and learn about the tribal life.

DAY 6

TUENSANG / NOKLAK /SHAMATOR

Early morning,
after breakfast drive down to Noklak, the land of the
Khiamniugan Naga. Visit Noklak village and Pangsha. On the way
back to Tuensang, visit Shamator, the land of the Yimchugers
Nagas. Overnight stay at guesthouse / hotel / lodge in Tuensang. |

TUENSANG / MOKAKCHUNG. |

After breakfast,
drive down to Mokakchung village situated at an attitude of
1325 mts. Check in at hotel/lodge/circuit house. Overnight
stay at Mokakchung. |

DAY 8

MOKOKCHUNG |
|
|
After breakfast,
stroll around the market. It is an interesting sight to pass
through. Then proceed on to the tribal areas . It is the
cultural centre of the Ao Nagas. Their main festivals are
Moatsu and Tsungremong. On way back to Mokokchung visit
Mopungchuket village. Later visit Impur set up by American
Baptish Missionaries. Drive to Longkhum village which is 17
kms from Mokokchung. Here we show you a very interesting
handicraft centre. On the way back to Mokokchung, visit Umgma
Village oldest and biggest village in the district. Overnight
stay at hotel/lodge/Guest house in Mokukchung. |

MOKOKCHUNG- ZUNHEBOTO |

After breakfast,
drive upto Zunheboto, situated at an altitude of 1874 mts -
the home land of Sumi Nagas. Sumi are the martial tribe among
the Nagas. Tulumi the main festival of the Sumi tribes is
celebrated on 5th July every year. Overnight stay at
hotel/Guesthouse/lodge in Zunheboto. |

after breakfast, drive up to Pfutsero (altitude 2134 mts)
Enroute visit Satakha Sumi tribal village and proceed to

Early morning
after breakfast stroll around Pfutsero, which is the coldest &
situated at the highest altitude in Nagaland. Visit Thetsumi
village, Kheghakeno Pfutseromi village, after that proceed to Kohima(72 KMS.) Overnight stay at hotel /lodge. |

In the morning,
after breakfast start for the strolling around the tribal
areas of Kohima,the capital town ,situated at an altitude of
14950 mts.16 major tribes are here to show you. For a close
experience, we take you to Angami tribal village Viswema,
Jakhama, Kigwema, and Phesama.After lunch, we take you back to
Kohima, the biggest village in Asia. Your local guide will
explain you all about their traditions, handicrafts, handlooms

Lotha Nagas known for their folk songs. Their main festival is
Tokhu Emong celebrated on 7th November every year. Enroute

TUOPHEMA / KOHIMA |

After breakfast,
drive to Kohima and Check into hotel/lodge. See the state
museum. It treasures a collection of different tribes. WWII
cementry-The famous WWII a symbolic memorial, raised as
citations for the supreme sacrifices made by the officers and
soldiers during World War II. Cathedral an important landmark
of Kohima, the crucifix inside the cathedral carved out from
the wood is the largest in India. The inscription presented by
the Japanese war veterans of WWII. Visit handloom and
handicraft emporium for buying the finest collection of the
