to Aurangabad and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon, visit to
Ellora caves, where gigantic cave temple are carved into the
mountainside. These sculptures dates back to the 2nd century
BC. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 3

AURANGABAD / AJANTA
Morning, after
breakfast, full day tour of Ajanta Caves. The Caves date back
to the 2nd century B.C. The 30 rock caves are adorned with
Buddhist sculpture and frescoes. The most remarkable among
them is the Kailash Temple, meant to be a replica of Lord
Shiva's celestial abode. Kailash is the best example of rock
cut architecture and an engineering marvel. Overnight stay at

AURANGABAD / MUMBAI
Morning flight
to Mumbai and transfer to hotel. Afternoon tour to the
Elephanta Caves by lunch. These cave temples date back to the
7th century and are dedicated to Shiva. Evening departure &
