DAY 1 | KOLKOTA / TEZPUR


Arrival and transfer to the hotel . Depart for Tezpur from Kolkata by air (1hr15min.) Over nite stay at the hotel in Tezpur


 

DAY 2 | TEZPUR


After breakfast , start for the city tour. Pay visit to the Bamuni - hill famous for its artistic beauty. Proceed to Mahabhairab temple, the Hazara pakhuri, Chitrlekha park. Established by British deputy Comissioner Mr Cole. Overnight at the hotel.


 

DAY 3 | TEZPUR / BHALUKPONG


After breakfast,drive down to Bhalukpong (64kms) from Tezpur under the foothills of the Akka hills. This beautiful Picnic spot has many attractions -Hot spring, a big orchid garden at Tapi. The nearest river Jia-bharali fascinates the anglers. Night stay at Tezpur only.


 

DAY 4 | BHALUKPONG / BOMDILA


Drive down to Bomdila (2,530mts altitude) after breakfast . On arrival , transfer to the hotel. Over night stay at hotel .


 

DAY 5 | BOMDILA


After breakfast ,go for the sight seeing of the place. It offers panoramic views of the awesome Himalayan terrain with its snow-covered mountains. The town is known for its Buddhist monasteries and apple orchids. Visit to the craft centre where colourfully designed carpets are made. Then proceed for watching out monastery of Gontse garden . Rest of the day is free for personal activities .


 

DAY 6 | BOMDILA / TAWANG


After taking breakfast, proceed for Twang by surface (10 hrs) .On arrival , check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.


DAY 7 | TAWANG


After breakfast , go for the sight seeing of the place. The highlight of this town is the monastery - the birthplace of the sixth Dalai Lama. The monastery overlooks the valley and is surrounded by mountains, which seem to be guarding the valley and its inhabitants. Over 500 Lamas live in its 65 residential buildings. After taking lunch, visit the remaining sights of Tawang. Overnight stay at the hotel.


DAY 8 | DEPARTURE


Departure for the final destination by train.
