DAY 1 | TAJ MAHAL
             (7th WONDER OF THE WORLD)


Sheer poetry in marble, majesty and magnificence, unravelled- Taj Mahal, the one and only of its kind in the world. The monumental labour of love of a great ruler for his beloved queen. The ultimate realization of Emperor Shahjahan's dream. This enchanting mausoleum, on the bank of river Yamuna, took 22 years (1631 to 1652 A.D.) to complete with the help of an estimated 20,000 workers. Open: 6.00 A.M. to 6.00 P.M.
TAJ NATURE WALK: A beautiful natural forest cover spread over 70 hectares of area just 500 meters away from the eastern gate of Taj Mahal. An excellent view can be found from the different mounts of the park. Flora & fauna of different species are also found here.
AGRA FORT: The great Mughal Emperor Akbar commemorated the construction of the Agra Fort in 1565. A.D. although additions were made till the time of his grandson Shahjahan. The forbidding exteriors of this fort hide an inner paradise. There are a number of exquisite buildings like the Moti Masjid-a white marble mosque akin to a perfect pearl; Diwan-e-Aam. Diwan-e-Khas, Jehangir's Palace; Khas Mahal; Sheesh Mahal and Musamman or Samman Burj-where Shahjahan was held captive in 1666 A.D.


 

DAY 2 | FATEHPUR SIKRI


An epic in red sandstone. A city of yesteryears, today lost in the midst of time . Fatehpur Sikri was built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar during 1564 A.D. A son-less Akbar, had gone to Sikri to seek blessings of a muslim saint Sheikh Salim Chisti. When his son was born, he in gratitude constructed his capital city and named it Fatehpur Sikri. Later, due to shortage of water and unrest in north-west, Akbar has to abandon this city. The beautiful marble tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti still attracts thousands who seek blessings of the revered saint. Other renowned places are Diwan-e-Aam, Diwan-e-Khas, Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, Jodha Bai's Palace and Birbal Bhawan.

KEOLADEO GHANA NATIONAL PARK (BHARATPUR) The highlight of this important bird sanctuary in India is the annual visit of the Siberian Cranes which come here during the winter months. Besides, it gives sanctuary a great variety of resident species and has gained acclaim as an ornithologist's paradise. It is 60 Km. from Agra on the Jaipur highway.


 

DAY 3 | DELHI


Afternoon take a guided tour of Delhi. Starting from Red fort-the Mughal splendour, Jama Masjid(great mosque). Then walk around the lanes of quaint-Chandni Chowk.


 

DAY 4 | DEPARTUR


After breakfast leave for further destination.
