DAY 1 | ARRIVE DELHI ON TO NAINITAL
       (320 KMS/APPROX 9 HOUR DRIVE)

Welcome to your 'Splendors of Uttaranchal' tour! On arrival at the Delhi airport or railway station (on your own), your picturesque journey continues to the charming hill station of Nainital, where on arrival you will check into your hotel. The rest of the evening is free. Just wonder down to the mall or enjoy a boat ride across the Naini Lake.

DAY 2 | NAINITAL

This morning, enjoy an excursion to the lakes, which includes Sat Tal, a group of seven lakes including the famous jade green Garud Lake, the larger Bhim Tal and Naukuchiya Tal which is a lake with nine corners where you will have the opportunity for some boating and paddling (Boats can be hired directly there). The rest of the afternoon is free for you to explore Nainital. We recommend a visit to Snow View by means of a Gondola (ropeway) from where you will get the most spectacular view of the snow-capped peaks.

DAY 3 | NAINITAL

After breakfast proceed on a local tour of Nainital. Visit Naina Devi Temple and Hanuman Garhi. Rest of the day is free to explore this quaint little hill station as you stroll down the Mall or enjoy a boat ride in the Naini lake.

DAY 4 | RANIKHET
          (80 KMS / APPROX 3 HOUR DRIVE)

Today, after breakfast proceed on a scenic drive through forested pine and deodar covered slopes, past fast flowing mountain streams to the popular hill station of Ranikhet. Check into your hotel. Afternoon you will explore the wonderful sights of Ranikhet, which includes the beautifully located nine-hole golf course at Upat, a Government Fruit Garden and Research Station at Chaubatia and the fascinating temples in Dwarahat.

DAY 5 | ON TO CORBETT(125 KMS /
             APPROX 4 HOUR DRIVE

This morning, your journey continues from the picturesque environs of the mountains to the wild tropical jungles of the plains. On arrival in Corbett, India's finest national park, check into your wildlife resort. Later in the afternoon, you will enjoy a jeep safari into the National Park, to spot a variety of wild life including sloth bear, birds, deer, tiger and wild boar (park is open from 15th November to 15th June).

DAY 6 | ON TO MUSSOORIE (290 KMS /
             APPROX 6 1/2 HOUR DRIVE

You will proceed on a drive to the picturesque town of Mussoorie, spread along a horseshoe shaped ridge overlooking the Doon Valley. On arrival, you will check into your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

DAY 7 | IN MUSSOORIE

The day is free for you to explore Mussorie's numerous attractions - the Mall, Municipal Garden, Gun Hill and the Camel's Back. Or you may take an excursion to Kempty Falls, a favourite tea party venue with the Britishers in the early 19th century and even today continues to be a popular picnic spot. In the evening why not relax and walk through the city exploring the local markets.

DAY 8 | ON TO DELHI (270 KMS /
            APPROX 7 HOUR DRIVE)

Today bid farewell to the picturesque city of Mussoorie as your 'Splendours of Uttaranchal' tour comes to an end with a journey back to Delhi.
