This state
abounds with places of historical, religious and cultural
importance. And as many destinations are there full of
fascinating natural beauty. For these reasons a great many
foreign tourists coming to India visit this state. The
Department of Tourism has constantly been trying to develop
the places of importance properly, and to make necessary
facilities available to tourists.
With this view the role of the Tourist Houses and wayside
facilities provided by the Department of Tourism, has been
reassessed. Now, the Department is focussing its attention
towards completion of the ongoing schemes and to creation of
infrastructural facilities. |
